Venice teacher arrested on drug charges

VENICE -- A Venice High School math teacher was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly taking two female students to his house, giving them vodka and showing them his marijuana farm.

Michael B. Ziemian, 34, of Mt. Vernon Drive, was arrested on a warrant at his home and charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, delivery of a controlled substance to a person under 18 years old and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
